Abraxas puts finishing touches on painting; raffle benefit set

Above, 46 second graders from H.O. Brittingham Elementary School watched
artist Abraxas put the finishing touches on a new painting, April 2, at
the Federal Street Gallery and Espresso Bar in Milton. Abraxas patiently
fielded questions about his art from them.
The Federal Street Gallery and Espresso Bar at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 24,
with all proceeds to benefit H.O. Brittingham Elementary School's third
and fourth grade World Odyssey of the Mind team which will be travelling
to Iowa, May 28-31.
Local painters Abraxas and Richard Clifton have donated their limited
edition prints (below), "Harbor of Refuge"(left) by Abraxas, and
"Delaware Blue Hen" by Clifton. The prints are signed and numbered by
the artists. Framing was donated by the Federal Street Gallery and
Espresso Bar. Not shown is a photograph of Cape Henlopen donated by
local photographer Gary Cooke. First place winner gets first choice
among the prizes, second place winner picks between the last two. Raffle
tickets cost $3.00 individually or two tickets for $5.00. For more
