 MEET THE ARTIST ABRAXAS AT ELI'S COUNTRY INN Eli's Country Inn, located three miles east of Greenwood, will host a "meet the artist" reception on Tuesday, May 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. The artist is Abraxas, 22, whose "First Light" print, produced in a limited and numbered edition of 900, has sold half its edition in its first six months. Some of the remaining prints will be offered for sale at the reception, and some of his original oils, as well as the artist's second print, will be on display and available for purchase. Abraxas will provide a free pen-oil portrait, worth $1,000, to the winner of a drawing held at the event. Eli's Country Inn, nestled between Greenwood and Milford, is surrounded by thousands of acres of lush farms and forests, and is furnished with fine antiques. Refreshments will be available for those who attend the event, including coffee provided by Indian River Espresso and Coffee Company. The coffee is fresh roasted and specially ground. Foil bags of the coffee will also be available to visitors. |
